Collaber outlines this privacy policy in order to assist you the uses, safeguard information and resources you provide in using Software and Services.
Personal Information uses
(a)In general, you can visit us on the internet without telling us who you are or giving us personal information.
(b)There are times when we may need information from you, for instance: to process an order, to correspond, to provide a subscription or any other need in similar.
(c)We may supplement this information to complete a transaction or to provide a better service. When you use Collaber, people included in your contact list may be able to see your online presence, CollaberID, ID, and any information that you choose to add to your profile, including images, links, and custom status indicators.
"Vimukti does not sell, rent, loan, trade, lease, or transfer any personal information collected through software or service to any third party outside the Collaber network. Collaber will treat any information provided as confidential and will not disclose it any third party. Collaber will provide information collected through the network to other users in the network only with your explicit permission as granted by you through applicable settings available in the software."
Explanation of Service
When you use the Collaber Services and Software you provide three types of Information:
(1) Personal Information you actively choose to disclose to Collaber (Active Information)
(2) Usage Information that is provided passively or generated automatically during your use of Software (Passive Information) and
(3) information that you share or communicate with other Software users (User Information).
(a)Active information includes information which is required in order for the Software to verify your identity and provide you with the Collaber Services. This includes your Collaber name and password. This information is stored centrally by Collaber.
(b)(i)If you choose to invite a friend to join Collaber through Invite contact in Collaber launch pad.
(ii)Any information entered in this form is stored centrally by Collaber and is used to send the content to those specified email addresses.
(d)(i)The Collaber website may also contain feedback forms where feedback can be reported directly to Collaber employees.
(ii)Any and all information which is voluntarily submitted in such feedback forms are used for the purposes of reviewing this feedback and improving the Collaber Software and Services.
(f)If Collaber chooses to display a user-submitted comment it will either display it anonymously, stripping away all personally identifiable information, or request permission directly from you before displaying it.
(g)(i) Collaber will ask for your feedback on site features.
(ii)Collaber will use the information it gathers to improve its sites and provide a more meaningful experience for its users.
(iii)Collaber may also use the information to alert you to offers and products of Collaber in which you have expressed an interest.
(h)User Information may be required by certain Collaber Services in order for the Software to function as intended and, if so desired, for other users of the Software to communicate with you. User Information includes any information you enter in your User Profile (such as name and email address) and also includes your current online status.
(i)Your data is stored in Collaber Server to facilitate importing of your account into any new system, use it as a always on backup, and access to your data through Web and Mobile devices.
(j)Passive Information is limited to information that is necessary in order to provide you with the desired functionality of the Software and may include a session ID token, source and destination addressing information, and the version of the Software you are using.
Log Files
Log files record internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser types, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, platform type, date/time stamp, and number of clicks to analyze trends, administer the site, track a customer's movement in the aggregate, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses, etc. are not linked to personally identifiable information.
Your choice
(a)You can change your account settings at any time using "Preferences" in Collaber launch pad. You may modify your online presence status or change your password.
(b)(i)You can uninstall the Collaber software at any time through the "Add or Remove Programs" Control Panel.
(ii)When you uninstall the software, Collaber and its log files are deleted from your computer. Your other files and applications remain unaffected.
(c)You may delete your contacts information or chat histories you have stored in your Collaber account by deleting the '.collaber' folder in your system.
Delete/Deactivation Policy
(a)(i)If you wish to delete any personal Information you submitted to Collaber, you may do so by contacting us.
(ii)We will notify you of our receipt of your request.
(b)We will use commercially reasonable efforts to functionally delete all such information (excluding any information necessary in order to detect fraudulent use) from our database within fifteen working days from the date of the receipt of your request.
(c)Please note that it may be impossible to delete a user's entry without some residual Information because of backups and records of deletions.
(d)Collaber reserves the right not to delete information in order to comply with applicable local laws or regulations.
