One of our our users gave a wonderful idea of enabling collaber for using with Microsoft Office InfoPath with a built-in webservice.
Microsoft Office InfoPath enables users to create various forms where users can submit data. All this data will be saved in some data source. With a new webservice we are planing to introduce in 1.0.7, the database tool can be used to save the data generated by InfoPath. Users can add the InfoPath form file(*.xsn) to a File Tool in any workspace. Automatically all the data and the form will be synced across all the members.
We are still in the process of finalising the feature of this new functionality. We need input from InfoPath users who want to save the data in a P2P database using Collaber Database Tool.
As of now our database tool only supports String data types. We are planing to add support for various other data types. Please provide us some complex use cases which can be done using Collaber and InfoPath. We will try to make them possible.
Thanks
