Hi we are examining the possibility of using Collaber in a samll teamwork scenario. We need to ensure that all files that are generated by the team automatically save to one of the Collaber folders. To do this it would be useful if it was possible to launch Ms Word or Excel from within the Collaber desktop and save to one of the folders. Would this be possible.
Also when do you think you will be in a position to provide private relay servers ?
We are about to go into a testing phase on this project and are really excited by it.

Unless you have a program
Unless you have a program that can handle .doc files Collaber can not create 'word documents'. when u open a file within collaber it opens it with the default handler of the file format.
If you are asking us to create new files from within collaber.. Yes we are going to add that feature in 1.0.8 (along with tons of other features).
Sending and downloading emails..I am not sure if you are talking about regular emails/ or collaber messages. Collaber can send and receive messages from other collaber users. Collaber is not yet an email client. Writing an email client is very easy. But storing the mails searching them are very very difficult. So we are never going to write a email client for collaber. But we may provide "email your workspace" feature.
Relay server is in testing phase. We will be able to release it along with 1.0.8 (may take another 25 days) As we are going to add lot of new and important features.
