I had the same problem.
The solution worked on my Windows machine, but the Linux machine said "unable to import account. Please contact Collaber support" I restarted the machine and Collaber to make it work.

Hope this helps someone else.

As an user who used Collaber

As an user who used Collaber both in Windows and Linux can you give us some feedback? It will help us in improving Collaber.

File saving issues
I'd be glad to help. I have used Groove for a couple of years, and it works fine. I like Collaber more because the cost is going to make it usable for me. I work with a couple of small - non-profits and paying for Groove is simply not viable. Also Groove is not without some bugs.

At the moment I am experimenting with Collaber, using 2 accounts on 2 of my machines (Windows and Linux) I have found a couple of things not working, or else I am doing something wrong. If I am doing something wrong, then possibly the documentation would be the place to address that for other users.

Saving file changes:
- I edited 2 files on the windows machine which were put there from the Linux machine. A .pdf and a .doc. Saved the files in their application, but no window came up to save back to collaber. I can find no method to save edits from my windows machine.

Email invitations (from Linux)
- I sent a few email workspace invitations to 2 of my extra email addresses. They have not appeared in my mail, checked the spam box too.

Inviting other users
- It took me a long time to figure out that every user must have an account. I did find that in the documentation today. Since Groove does not have this requirement, it might be an idea to make that info easier to understand for people who will be switching from Groove.

I will post more as I get used to your excellent software!

Hi Jack, The points you

Hi Jack, The points you mentioned are good. There seems to be an issue with Email Invitations as present.

We will improve the documentation. We also have customer support right in your Collaber. Just add "Collaber.Support" contact. Ask any questions/information you want exactly when you need it.

At present this "Collaber.Support" will be online for more than 16hrs. We are trying to increase that time.

That sounds great! I will try

That sounds great! I will try to ask on the forum though if it is a question that will help others.

I don't see a "subscribe" option on this forum - is there one?

I would like to know if you

I would like to know if you are aware of the fact that you can use same account in more than one system? All changes done in any system will be synchronized with other system. You don't need two accounts.

Yes, I am aware. The reason I

Yes, I am aware. The reason I have 2 accounts is to evaluate Collaber for my organization. I need someone (another account) to try out the functions as if 2 people were working together on a project.

Once this is complete I will give the extra account to one of my group to take over and use.
