Standalone app for synchronization

Collaber is a nice app for working together, just like Groove.

However, the best feature of Collaber (like Groove) is synchronizing folders between two or more computers.

It would be a good idea to have a second product: a barebones sync app that sits in the system tray and does its job in the background.

BTW: Groove seems to do a better job in sync'ing files. In Collaber I regularly get a <filename>(username copy).<ext>

It's not bad though: better safe than sorry :-)

Thanks for your valuable

Thanks for your valuable feedback. We thought we made it similar to Groove. But seems it is not performing as better as Groove. So we are going to do a complete testing again along with Groove and will try to fix things to improve its performance.

Collaber app is itself not perfect yet. Our next version will take it much closer to the perfection compared to the other programs like it. It is not feasible for us to make another product as of now. We are still not getting money for the first app itself. Once Collaber becomes a success and we get a revenue stream, then we will be thinking about providing more alternatives to the user.

I forgot to mention, You can

I forgot to mention, You can hide your Collaber and just have the system tray icon. See the preferences for this option. So we already have what you are asking for. Just that it does much more.

Thanx for the feedback on

Thanx for the feedback on the system tray.

I think Collaber is already performing very well and I'm looking forward to any further improvements and enhancements.

As others said before: I am amazed about the speed and accuracy with which you all work. The essence of Collaber is already better than Groove, because it can be used on different platforms. Groove works only on Windows and that is a big obstacle for collaboration between different parties.
