Understanding Collaber

               Collaber is a collaboration software program that helps teams work together dynamically and effectively, even if team members work for different organizations,work remotely, or work offline. Working in workspaces saves time, increases productivity, and strengthens the quality of team deliverables.

               Collaber brings members and the tools they need together in the Collaber workspace. Members of a workspace can communicate with each other easily, share files, discuss ideas, hold meetings, plan schedules, and manage projects.

               As basic you will be introduced to some of the easy­to­use features and tools available in Collaber. You will also learn how to set up your Collaber account, log on to your account, work with Collaber workspace, and use your account in another computer. After you perform these exercises, you will have a better understanding of how easy it is with Collaber, file sharing, task management, Scheduling your dates.

Security

               Collaber gives you the best secured workspaces. Your data in Collaber is always stored in your computer only (unless you share it with others). So it is as safe as your computer is.

               All files in Collaber are encrypted with AES 192bit security key. This key will be stored in another encrypted database which can only be opened with a valid password.

               All the data in the network is encrypted with AES 192 bit encryption key. This key will be again encrypted with the destination person's Public RSA 1024bit Encryption Key. Total data will again have a signature generated with your Private RSA 1024 signing key.

               Collaber Relay servers will be acting as Store & Forward service. They will have access to encrypted data only. So the only way to decrypt the data is to hack your computer. As long as your computer is safe from unauthorized access, all your data is safe.

  •  Memory ­ 256MB System RAM (512MB recommended),
  •  JRE Requirement ­ JRE 1.5+ needed if using Collaber without JRE.
  •  Internet connection ­ Network connection and other members in your team to collaborate with.
  •  Operating system ­ Windows 2000(with IE6), Windows XP, Windows 2003,Vista, Mac OSX (10.4 and later), Linux.
  •   Additional ­ Actual requirements and product functionality may vary based on your system configuration and operating system.
